What Are the Symptoms of Xanax Withdrawal?

  Xanax, Valium, and Klonopin are all members of a class of drugs called benzodiazepines. Also called “benzos” for short, these are drugs that exert specific effects on the body’s central nervous system. Traditionally, benzodiazepines were used to treat a variety of conditions, including anxiety, seizures, and alcohol withdrawal. Unfortunately, Xanax has become a highly dependent drug over the years and easier to access.
